African Americans making new lives in West Africa

African Americans are increasingly saying goodbye to the United States and hello to Africa, pointing to institutionalised racism, but also a longing to connect to their roots.

The destination for most is Ghana in West Africa, though it can be a cumbersome process.

Mawunyo Gbogbo recently visited Ghana for PM.
